The Mississippi Tribune has moved its offices to 638 Delaware Ave. near downtown McComb. The phone number remains the same: 601-869-4088.
The new location is home for the Sales/Marketing department as well as the news room, circulation-distribution, and administrative. Regular office hours are Monday through Friday from 9am until 3pm.
The company welcomes advertisers, subscribers, readers, and news stories submissions at the office. Classified ads, legal notices, ad work, photos and news story can be left or copied at this location.
The company named marketing executive Trideana Lenard as the new company President. Lenard is responsible for day to day operations and office staff. She is also the top marketing officer of the newspaper.
Lenard was a former award-winning sales representative with the Enterprise-Journal before joining the Mississippi Tribune staff. Saturday, she was honored with 4 awards from the Mississippi Press Association.
She shared a 3rd place award for an ad for Summit Town Council candidate Lester Swanigan, which placed third in color political advertising. She also won third place awards for a campaign ad for Magnolia Mayor Melvin Harris in black-and-white political advertising; a ad for Affordable Maintenance in color service advertising; and an ad for the McComb Kia dealership in color auto advertising.
